DOJ Launches Investigation
“It’s clear now more than ever that Planned Parenthood must be defunded,” stated Heather Weininger, Executive Director of Wisconsin Right to Life.
On Thursday, December 7th, Steven Boyd, the Department of Justice’s Assistant Attorney General of Legislative Affairs, requested from the Senate Judiciary Committee unredacted documents from the select panel responsible for investigating Planned Parenthood. This confirms that Planned Parenthood is under federal investigation for selling aborted baby body parts.
“With the Department of Justice launching an investigation into their dealings in the trade of baby body parts, the time for Planned Parenthood to be cut off from the taxpayer trough is now,’” continued Weininger. “It is unacceptable for such a controversial organization to receive a single taxpayer dime.”
