Work is scheduled to begin Monday (June 5) along a 10 mile stretch of WIS 19 in Dane County. Construction on WIS 19 will take place between WIS 78 and US 12. Traffic will be detoured via WIS 78 and US 12. Access will remain open to local residents and businesses for the duration of the project.

Roadway improvements include replacing the outer edges of the deteriorated asphalt pavement, installing new gravel shoulders, upgrading beam guard, installing new signs and pavement markings, and replacing an existing box culvert.

This project is scheduled for completion in mid-August 2017. Construction schedules are subject to change based on weather and construction status.
