Democrat Candidate for Governor Supports Minority Leader Hintz and his War on Women
[Madison, WI]— State Representative Dana Wachs – a Democrat candidate for governor – broke his silence yesterday on the election of new Assembly Minority Leader, Gordon Hintz. Wachs told reporters that he supports Hintz and “We’ve got to move on.” While Hintz has waged a personal war on women, it is unclear what Wachs might want to move on from – the time Hintz was cited for “sexual misconduct?” Or maybe the time Hintz yelled “you are f—ing dead” at a female GOP colleague?
“While Dana Wachs is running to be his party’s nominee for Governor his ‘leadership’ was noticeably absent when determining the next leader of their shrinking Assembly caucus” said Alec Zimmerman, spokesman for the Republican Party of Wisconsin. “Instead of standing up for the hard-working Wisconsin families Gordon Hintz has disrespected time and again, Wachs has enabled him to take his personal war on women to Democrat Party leadership.”
