Madison, Wisconsin — Wisconsin Democrats continued their disarray today, electing Gordon Hintz as Minority Leader for the Democrat caucus in the State Assembly. After forcing out former Minority Leader Peter Barca for voting in favor of tens of thousands of family-supporting jobs for his district, Democrats are now turning to State Rep. Gordon Hintz whose personal war on women includes being cited for sexual misconduct as part of a prostitution sting and, on a separate occasion, yelling “you are f—ing dead” at a female GOP colleague.
“Wisconsin Democrats are in disarray once again, not only standing against family-supporting jobs but letting Gordon Hintz bring his personal war on women to the leadership of their caucus,” said Alec Zimmerman, spokesman for the Republican Party of Wisconsin. “Wisconsin families can’t trust that Gordon Hintz even respects them, let alone that he’ll fight for them.”
