[Madison, WI]— As Dirty Defense Attorney Matt Flynn launches his campaign for governor, the Republican Party of Wisconsin is launching a digital ad campaign to inform voters of Flynn’s history of fighting against victims of sexual abuse. Flynn’s record of strong arming victims of sexual abuse confirms that Wisconsin’s hard-working families can’t trust him.
“Matt Flynn is a dirty defense attorney who has built a career on defending special interests and those who prey on Wisconsin families,” said Alec Zimmerman, spokesman for the Republican Party of Wisconsin. “While Governor Walker has fought to return power to hard-working Wisconsinites, Matt Flynn has fought to cover up the crimes committed against those who are most vulnerable.”
Dirty Defense Attorney Matt Flynn Fights Against Victims of Sexual Abuse
–Flynn once told a group of sexual abuse victims’ advocates, “You’re going to lose anyway so we’ll throw a crumb to your clients if you drop these cases,” – promising only to cover their therapy costs.
–One victim recalled depositions from the case being so difficult, that it left their family “…feeling like it had happened all over again.” Flynn even moved to collect $4,000 from one of the victims—placing a lien against him.
The Republican Party of Wisconsin’s digital ad campaign is accompanied by a website, www.FlynnForWisconsin.org. This is in addition to campaigns it has previously launched against Tony Evers, Dana Wachs, Andy Gronik, Mike McCabe, and Kathleen Vinehout.
