Madison, Wisconsin — As Governor Walker and Wisconsin Republicans highlight the results of their reforms to cut taxes, and taxpayers throughout the state receive their property tax bills, the Republican Party of Wisconsin is launching a statewide billboard campaign on Tuesday. Beginning in La Crosse, the billboards will tout Governor Walker’s record of fighting for hard-working Wisconsin families. Wisconsin taxpayers will have saved over $8 billion in total tax relief since the governor took office.
“When it comes to tax relief, Governor Walker is fighting for Wisconsinites and delivering real results,” said Mark Morgan, Executive Director for the Republican Party of Wisconsin. “The governor is returning power to hard-working Wisconsin taxpayers by keeping government accountable and holding the line on property taxes – allowing Wisconsin families to spend their money how they see fit.”
The billboard campaign will include various markets across Wisconsin, starting in La Crosse. See the billboard itself on Highway 16 north of the La Crosse Street intersection, or see an example of it online here.
