Joined by Governor Walker, the President Sees Wisconsin’s Comeback First-Hand
[Madison, WI]—President Donald Trump visited Wisconsin today to draw attention to the skills gap that exists across the United States and see how Wisconsin is leading the way in addressing it. The president is joining Governor Scott Walker at Waukesha County Technical College, where they’ll have the chance to discuss education and training issues and the bold reforms Wisconsin has undertaken to build its workforce.
Ahead of the visit, the Republican Party of Wisconsin released the following statement from Chairman Brad Courtney:
“President Trump is visiting Wisconsin to see first-hand what the results of our bold, conservative reforms look like.  Thanks to the leadership of Governor Scott Walker, Wisconsin is leading the way. Today’s visit will highlight the important work of Governor Walker and local technical colleges to empower hard-working Wisconsin families with the skills they need to succeed, as President Trump looks to take action and help Americans obtain the skills they need to succeed in the workplace.”
