[Madison, WI]— Today Senator Tammy Baldwin voted to oppose Scott Pruitt as the next Administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency. Senator Baldwin’s vote is a move against Wisconsin farmers, who have struggled for years with overregulation from the Obama Administration’s dangerous Waters of the United States rule, supported by Senator Tammy Baldwin.
“Nearly twenty years in Washington has left Senator Tammy Baldwin out of touch with hardworking farmers throughout Wisconsin,” said Alec Zimmerman, spokesperson for the Republican Party of Wisconsin. “Senator Baldwin’s opposition to Scott Pruitt’s nomination shows she favors burdensome regulations from Washington over fighting for farmers here at home.”
