[Madison, WI]— Yesterday, Senator Johnson called on Senator Tammy Baldwin to support health care reform that would put Wisconsin first. This comes only days after Senator Baldwin endorsed Senator Bernie Sanders’ government-run health care proposal, the latest decision by Baldwin that shows she sides with Washington over Wisconsin.
“While Republicans like Senator Johnson are leading the fight for health care reform that would put hard-working Wisconsinites first, Senator Baldwin is siding with Washington over Wisconsin,” said Alec Zimmerman, spokesman for the Republican Party of Wisconsin. “Senator Baldwin is embracing her radical liberal allies and supporting a plan would further the government takeover of health care and add trillions in spending.”
