Bold reforms make Wisconsin top ten state
[Madison, WI] — Five years ago today, Governor Scott Walker and Lt. Governor Rebecca Kleefisch were the first sitting Governor and Lt. Governor in history to win a recall election.  Under Republican leadership since the win, Wisconsin’s comeback is strong, more people are working than ever before, and unemployment is at its lowest point since 2000.  Despite protests by the enraged Left, our bold, conservative leadership prevailed, and Wisconsin is better because of it.
“We’re ready to keep fighting for Wisconsinites,” said Governor Scott Walker.  “Our bold conservative reforms have made Wisconsin a top ten state.  We will continue to put taxpayers first and fight against those who would take us back to the same failed policies of yesterday.”
“The fight to help hard-working Wisconsin families isn’t done yet,” said Lt. Governor Rebecca Kleefisch.  “Our reforms are putting people first and continuing to return power to Wisconsin taxpayers.”
“Our bold conservative reforms are working for Wisconsin,” said Majority Leader Scott Fitzgerald. “The principled leaders in the Wisconsin State Senate will continue to fight for hard-working Wisconsin families, and keep Wisconsin moving forward.”
“Republicans in the State Assembly are proud to continue to fight for hard-working Wisconsin families,” said Speaker Robin Vos.  “Under Republican leadership, we have made significant reforms the past six years.  We will continue to fight to put Wisconsinites first.”
