[Madison, WI]— Republicans in Wisconsin will gather this weekend in the Wisconsin Dells to celebrate victory while building for the future. Republican elected officials and grassroots leaders will come together at training sessions, receptions, and speaking events as we seek to build on our success from last election cycle. The Republican Party of Wisconsin Chairman Brad Courtney issued the following statement ahead of this weekend’s convention:
“As Chairman of the Republican Party of Wisconsin, I am honored to welcome our elected officials and grassroots leaders to the 2017 Republican Party of Wisconsin State Convention. Last year, the Republican Party helped secure Wisconsin’s electoral votes for President Donald Trump, propelling him to victory on Election Night. On top of that, we re-elected Senator Ron Johnson in one of the most crucial elections in the country and built on our historic legislative majorities. By working together, we’ve secured a bright future for our state and we’re already off to a great start for the 2018 cycle. Continuing our success starts this weekend in Wisconsin Dells.”
During events this weekend the Republican Party of Wisconsin is also happy to partner with the Wisconsin Dells/Lake Delton Food Band and Second Harvest Food Bank of Wisconsin. Stations will be set up around convention to collect non-perishable food items from attendees to donate.
