WisGOP: Wisconsin republicans pass massive tax cut for hard-working families

Madison, Wisconsin — Speaker Paul Ryan, Senator Johnson and other Wisconsin Republicans voted to pass historic tax cuts late yesterday. Despite this legislation saving a hard-working family of four an average of $2,059, Senator Tammy Baldwin and Democrats still opposed the bill – picking Washington over Wisconsin.

“Thanks to Speaker Ryan, Senator Johnson, and our Republican leaders, Wisconsin families win big with the massive tax cuts in this plan. It’s sad to see far-left Democrats like Senator Baldwin trying to stand in the way,” said Mark Morgan, Executive Director for the Republican Party of Wisconsin. “This holiday season, Senator Baldwin is truly picking Washington over Wisconsin – putting partisan politics ahead of hard-working families.”
