Grassroots Activists Tout Marshfield Rep.’s Support for Conservative Reforms

MADISON, WI – Americans for Prosperity-Wisconsin (AFP-WI) today announced its support for Representative John Spiros in his bid for re-election to the Wisconsin State Assembly. The group cited Spiros’ votes to lower taxes, cut red-tape, and reform state government as reasons for their support. AFP-WI activists will be canvassing Spiros’ central Wisconsin district in the coming weeks encouraging voters to re-elect him.

Americans for Prosperity-Wisconsin Deputy State Director Annette Olson made the following statement:

“Representative John Spiros has served the people of Wisconsin’s 86th district honorably and AFP-WI is proud to support his re-election. Rep. Spiros has championed bold, conservative reforms that have saved Wisconsin taxpayers money and made it easier to start and grow a small business in the Badger State. Our activists are particularly excited to support John Spiros because of his work to halt the proposed truckers tax, reduce the main street business tax, and lift burdensome government licensure requirements on small businesses.”
