Mandela Barnes, the Dem nominee for lt. guv, declares in a new TV ad “eight years is enough of Scott Walker” as he praises running mate Tony Evers as a “leader who will get results.”
Evers’ campaign said it will run on cable and digital.
The spot opens with Barnes looking directly into the camera and saying, “We don’t need to imagine the challenges of our state. We live them every day.”
He mentions access to quality, affordable health care, clean water, and “wanting the best schools for our kids” before adding he’s seen Evers’ “character and passion to do what’s right.’
After declaring eight years of Walker is enough, Barnes says, “We need a governor who’s concerned about the next generation, not the next election. I’m Mandela Barnes. It’s time for a change.”
