Bill aimed at attracting workers to the state clears Joint Finance along party-lines

A bill that would spend $6.8 million on an effort to attract workers to Wisconsin cleared the Joint Finance Committee on a 11-3 party-line vote. 
Dem committee members, though, argued the bill was a misuse of resources and that it was Republican policies in the first place that have made it difficult to retain young people in the state.
