Randy Bryce Releases Statement on Paul Ryan’s Short-Term Spending Bill
RACINE, WI – Speaker Ryan’s Democratic challenger, Randy Bryce, released the following statement on the short-term spending bill that the Speaker presented to House Republicans on Tuesday evening.
“Paul Ryan is playing games with our country’s most vulnerable. This bill not only leaves Dreamers in limbo, it also uses the Children’s Health Insurance Program as a bargaining chip. If there was any doubt after tax ‘reform’ or the Obamacare repeal that Speaker Ryan’s values have been skewed by 20 years of talking to lobbyists and billionaire donors in D.C., it was erased last night.”
