Bryce Releases Statement on 50 Miles More March
RACINE, WI – Democratic congressional candidate Randy Bryce released a statement on the 50 Miles More March, which concluded today with a rally in Speaker Ryan’s hometown of Janesville, WI. The March was led by students who marched 50 miles to Janesville to call on Speaker Ryan to allow a vote on common sense gun reform. Bryce, a gun owner, veteran, and father of an 11-year-old son in public schools, is running to replace Ryan as the Congressman for Wisconsin’s First District, which saw a fatal mass shooting in 2012.
“It was one of the greatest privileges of my life to get to listen to these brave young people from the First District and across Wisconsin, today. I beg the Speaker to do the same.
“Paul Ryan, the people of your district – students, parents, gun owners, veterans, hunters, Republicans and Democrats alike – are shouting for you to do something. I echo the students in calling for common sense gun reform, including a ban on all military assault rifles.”
