Evers calls Walker ‘most anti-education governor’ in second TV ad

Dem guv candidate Tony Evers knocks Gov. Scott Walker as “the most anti-education governor” in his second TV ad.

The 30-second ad, which focuses on Evers’ experience as a teacher, begins with footage of the state superintendent touting his commitment to Wisconsin’s children.

“I’ve always believed what’s best for our kids is best for our state,” he said. “That’s why I got into teaching.”

The ad then pans to shots of Evers talking to children and adults while he voices his belief education and workforce development are keystones to a strong middle class.

Evers then turns his attention to Walker, saying “he’s been the most anti-education governor our state has ever seen.”

The ad ends with Evers pledging he “will never play politics with our kids or their schools.”
