Today, the Tony Evers for Wisconsin campaign announced that it raised $1 million in the first week of the general election campaign. These contributions came from more than 4,000 donors.
“Tony Evers has the momentum in Wisconsin’s gubernatorial race—between our remarkable fundraising and strong polling performance, it’s clear the wind is at our back as we surge towards November,” said Tony for Wisconsin Campaign Manager Maggie Gau. “Thank you so much to everyone who pitched in to give our campaign this strong boost right out of the general election gate. With these resources, we’ll be able to take on the deep pockets of Scott Walker’s special interest backers and bring change to Wisconsin.”
