After cutting $800 million from our schools, Wisconsin families can’t trust Walker on education
Madison, WI — Today, Tony Evers’ campaign released a new ad promoting Evers’ positive vision of investing in education and ensuring every kid in Wisconsin can attend a great public school, no matter the zip code. The ad shows the clear contrast between Scott Walker’s $800 million cut to public schools, and Evers’ record of raising graduation rates to nearly 90% while putting our students first as State Superintendent.
“In this race, there is only one candidate with a record of standing up for Wisconsin’s kids, and that’s Tony Evers,” said Evers campaign manager Maggie Gau. “Unlike Walker’s record of gutting our public schools and putting foreign corporations ahead of our students, Tony knows that what is good for our kids is good for Wisconsin. Whether it’s raising graduation rates or advancing career training, he will always put our kids first.”
Evers’ ad can be viewed here, and a full transcript is below.
