Godlewski is the first statewide candidate in Wisconsin to earn this major endorsement.

Madison, WI –  End Citizens United (ECU) announced today that its state level project, Fight for Reform, is endorsing Sarah Godlewski in the Democratic primary election for Wisconsin State Treasurer. This endorsement is a recognition of Godlewski’s leadership in the struggle to fix our broken political system.

“I’m honored to earn this endorsement. End Citizens United is a key leader in the national fight for government transparency and accountability, which are major platforms of our campaign,”’ said Godlewski. “I stand with the people of Wisconsin and against the deep pockets of corporate and special interest money. I look forward to serving as our next State Treasurer, so I can ensure that the people of Wisconsin are heard.”

End Citizens United, and its non-federal arm Fight for Reform, is the largest grassroots organization focused on the fight against undisclosed and unlimited money that is corrupting our politics. They are committed to supporting champions who will fundamentally change our political system.

Earlier this year, Godlewski pledged not to take any corporate PAC money. Her campaign has received over 600 individual contributions from across the state to fuel her grassroots campaign.
