GOP state Rep. Treig Pronschinske, who pulled a surprise upset in the 2016 election for his western Wisconsin Assembly seat, lost his re-election bid as Mondovi mayor Tuesday.
According to results posted at the Buffalo County Clerk’s office, Pronshniske took 35.6 percent of the vote, while Brady Weiss won 63.5 percent.
Pronshniske was seeking a third term as mayor for the community of about 2,600. Weiss was endorsed by the Wisconsin AFL-CIO.
