Wisconsin Rapids—David Gorski, Democratic Party nominee for the 72nd State Assembly, received the Planned Parenthood Advocates of Wisconsin (PPAWI) endorsement today.
“I’m honored to receive this endorsement from Planned Parenthood Advocates of Wisconsin. The fight for women’s rights, especially safe and guaranteed access to healthcare is critical and is a battle we cannot lose,” said Gorski. “To the precise extent we as a society ensure women’s safety and health, we have achieved a victory for human rights and decency.”
Gorski added: “Witnessing events in D.C. in the U.S. Supreme Court confirmation hearings, it’s clear human rights groups such as Planned Parenthood Advocates of Wisconsin play a vital and continuing role for the rights won in the last 50 years.”
Gorski, is a Democrat and member of the Progressive Caucus.
David Gorski is a retired counselor and drug-and-alcohol prevention specialist for the Nekoosa School System, living in the town of Grand Rapids.
