Gorski Campaign: Rep. Scott Krug wants to arrest federal workers who help people with preexisting condition coverage
Wisconsin Rapids—David Gorski, Democratic Party nominee for the 72nd State Assembly, criticized his opponent, Rep. Scott Krug (R), for his position on preexisting conditions and Obamacare in which Krug repeatedly calls for the arrest of federal officials who implemented healthcare guarantees.
“This is crazy stuff. Scott Krug’s demands against healthcare call for the arrest of federal officials who implemented any Obamacare guarantee, such as preexisting condition coverage,” said Gorski. “Scott Krug cannot run away from his position against guaranteed coverage for preexisting conditions and his unhinged promise to the rightwing. The many news pieces and the record are a Google away.” Gorski pointed to Krug’s answers in the questionnaire for the Campaign for Liberty, and press reports.
Krug is one of nine lawmakers who called for the arrest of federal officials who come to Wisconsin to implement Obamacare. “Consider that. We have guarantees against health insurance companies blocking coverage for preexisting conditions, and Krug wants to arrest federal workers who help implement these guarantees,” said Gorski.
Here are some news reports of Scott Krug’s position against preexisting condition coverage and healthcare.
