The new dealerships represent at least $12 million investment set to create 20 jobs

MILWAUKEE – Governor Scott Walker participated in the groundbreaking ceremony for two new Russ Darrow dealerships in Milwaukee. The dealerships represent at least $12 million investment that will create at least 20 new jobs immediately at opening.“Russ Darrow has shown their continued commitment to our state with over 53 years of service to Wisconsin, and now they’re investing at least another $12 million to once again expand here,” said Governor Walker. “It’s great to see another Wisconsin business continuing to call our state home and employing over 1100 hardworking Wisconsinites. With our booming economy, I’m sure we will continue to see more and more of our businesses growing across our state.”

The Russ Darrow Group, like the State of Wisconsin, invests in workforce development, through their partnerships with local high schools, technical colleges, Employ Milwaukee, WATDA and ADAMM which allows employees and perspective employees to receive training and prepare for their future. This is part of the company’s “growing our own” philosophy that has guided the company over the last five decades.

“We are so happy and excited to be constructing two new state of the art auto dealerships, in the very popular Metro Auto Mall site on the northwest side of Milwaukee, for two of our highest volume and most popular lines of vehicles, Honda and Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and Ram Truck,” said Russ Darrow, President and CEO of the Russ Darrow Group. “The Metro Auto Mall has had tremendous success since its opening 6 or 7 years ago. We expect to complete the two dealerships construction and have them operational mid-summer 2019.”

Russ Darrow dealerships have been in Wisconsin since 1965. Today there are 20 dealerships with 11 franchises spanning Wisconsin.
