The Greater Wisconsin is up with a new TV ad that accuses GOP AG Brad Schimel of “leading the fight” to allow insurance companies to deny coverage to those with pre-existing conditions.
The narrator opens the ad saying the lives of those with pre-existing conditions depends on having affordable health care. But Schimel is “using our tax dollars to strike down protections for pre-existing conditions, jeopardizing coverage for 852,000 Wisconsinites.”
As the narrator says Schimel is leading the fight to allow insurances companies to deny coverage to those with pre-existing conditions, the word “denied” in all capital letters is stamped over the AG’s image with the words “pre-existing conditions” in smaller type underneath.
“Tell Brad Schimel to stop working for insurance companies and start working for us,” the narrator says to close the spot.
