DE PERE – Wisconsin 1st State Senate District candidate and current 2nd State Assembly District Representative André Jacque (R – De Pere) announced endorsements today from a number of elected officials who represent all or portions of Calumet County, including 3rd Assembly District State Rep. Ron Tusler, who represents the southwestern third of the 1st State Senate District.
“Rep. Jacque has been a champion for conservative principles throughout his time in state government, and it has been a great pleasure to work with him on a variety of important legislation, most notably protecting the unborn and victims of violence and abuse- I cannot think of a better candidate for the job,” said Tusler.
Also endorsing Jacque are Calumet County Sheriff Mark Ott, Calumet County Treasurer Mike Schlaak, Calumet County Republican Party Chairman Ralph Prescott and the two state assemblymen representing the rest of Calumet County, Rep. Paul Tittl and Rep. Jesse Kremer.
“I am humbled by the support of these leaders and honored to work with my outstanding colleagues in the Assembly as I continue my efforts to be an effective voice in state government for my neighbors here in Northeast Wisconsin,” Jacque said.
