MADISON — Josh Kaul, former federal prosecutor and candidate for Wisconsin Attorney General, today announced the endorsement of former Vice President of the United States Joe Biden.

“Josh Kaul understands that Wisconsin needs an attorney general who will fight for working families. Josh will take on the opioid epidemic, he’s spoken out about the need to eliminate Wisconsin’s backlog of untested rape kits, and he will stand up for access to affordable health-insurance coverage. Josh will get results and bring real and lasting change to Wisconsin.”

Kaul thanked Vice President Biden for his support. Kaul said, “From his leadership in the passage of the Violence Against Women Act to his advocacy for universal background checks, Vice President Biden has shown that he’s committed to making communities safer. It’s an honor to have his support.”

Josh Kaul served as a federal prosecutor in Baltimore, one of America’s most violent cities. There, Kaul prosecuted murderers, gang members, and drug traffickers, taking dangerous criminals off the street and making communities more secure. He grew up in Oshkosh and Fond du Lac in a family of law enforcement professionals and teachers. He is running for Attorney General in 2018.
