Kaul Proposes Debates in Every Wisconsin Congressional District

MADISON — Today, former federal prosecutor and candidate for Wisconsin Attorney General Josh Kaul challenged incumbent Attorney General Brad Schimel to agree to eight debates, one in each Wisconsin congressional district.

In a letter to the incumbent Attorney General, former federal prosecutor and candidate for Attorney General Josh Kaul wrote, “I believe it is important that voters from across the state be able to hear directly from us about our plans to make Wisconsin safer and stronger. Accordingly, I am writing to request that you agree to one debate in each of Wisconsin’s eight congressional districts.”

Josh Kaul served as a federal prosecutor in Baltimore, one of America’s most violent cities. There, Kaul prosecuted murderers, gang members, and drug traffickers, taking dangerous criminals off the street and making communities more secure. He grew up in Oshkosh and Fond du Lac in a family of law enforcement professionals and teachers. He is running for Attorney General in 2018.
