UPDATED: 8,573 Wisconsinites Sign Josh Kaul’s Nomination Petitions
MADISON — On Friday, May 25, Josh Kaul, candidate for Wisconsin Attorney General, turned in 4,000 nomination signatures, the maximum allowed, a week before the deadline. With support from more than 350 volunteers across the state, the Kaul campaign collected more than 8,500 signatures in less than six weeks.
“We’ve seen so much energy around the state, and I’m grateful to the hundreds of grassroots supporters who hit the pavement to collect nearly four times the number of signatures needed to put a safer and stronger Wisconsin on the ballot,” said Kaul. “This enthusiasm is going to help bring change to Wisconsin in November.”
Josh Kaul served as a federal prosecutor in Baltimore, one of America’s most violent cities. There, Kaul prosecuted murderers, gang members, and drug traffickers, taking dangerous criminals off the street and making communities more secure. He grew up in Oshkosh and Fond du Lac in a family of law enforcement professionals and teachers. He is running for Attorney General in 2018.
