Dem challenger Josh Kaul outraised incumbent AG Brad Schimel in August, pulling in $217,000, according to his campaign.
Schimel, who raised $166,201 last month, finished August with $1.1 million in the bank, according to a copy of his fundraising report cover sheet his campaign provided WisPolitics.com.
That was ahead of the $917,000 Kaul’s campaign said he had stashed away at the end of August.
Schimel also spent $98,422 compared to the $49,000 Kaul dropped.
