MADISON — Dem AG candidate Josh Kaul’s election night party has disbanded as the race remains neck-and-neck.

Kaul at midnight addressed a small but enthusiastic band of supporters, thanking them for remaining “as the night got long.”

“We won’t know the results until the early hours of the morning, or perhaps after that,” he said.

Kaul reiterated his optimism about the eventual results and said he would continue to fight.
And he noted that Dem guv candidate Tony Evers’ own election night gathering continues unabated just a few blocks away, as he encouraged attendees to head there.

Meanwhile, Republican AG Brad Schimel’s election night event in Pewaukee continued.
