BELOIT – Dr. Brittany Keyes, candidate for Wisconsin’s 31st Assembly District, is pleased to announce endorsements from State Representatives Mark Spreitzer (D-Beloit), Deb Kolste (D-Janesville), and Don Vruwink (D-Milton)—all of whom represent neighboring districts.

Rep. Deb Kolste, the Ranking Democrat on the 2017 Assembly Committee on Health, cited Keyes’s career as an asset. “Brittany’s background as a health care provider will be an asset to the Assembly. Her firsthand experience will help us build a health care system that serves everyone in Wisconsin.”

“Brittany Keyes is an exceptional candidate,” said Rep. Don Vruwink. “She is so energetic, so easy to talk to, and so eager to help others. Her passion for issues that impact small towns – funding for schools, rural infrastructure, and support for the agriculture community – is exactly what we need in the State Assembly.”

“For too long our state government has been growing less transparent and less responsive to the needs of our residents,” said Rep Mark Spreitzer. “We need Dr. Keyes in the State Assembly to protect our open records laws to keep our government accountable to Wisconsin citizens.”

“I am grateful for the support of Representatives Kolste, Spreitzer, and Vruwink,” Keyes said. “I look forward to working with them on this campaign and in the Assembly.”

Keyes has worked as a physical therapist for Beloit Health System since 2015. Her practice has an emphasis on sports injury rehabilitation. She provides medical coverage at area high school sporting events and is in her third season as a volunteer assistant coach for the junior varsity football team at Beloit Memorial High School. She serves as a strength and fitness coach for the team.
