Janesville/Beloit – Four local unions have announced their public endorsement of Troy Knudson for Rock County Sheriff. These unions include:
The Southern Wisconsin Building and Construction Trades Council – This “union of unions” includes working women and men of various construction trades, including Electricians, Plumbers, Sheet Metal Workers and Steamfitters who are responsible for the infrastructure of many buildings and industries within Rock County.
The United Auto Workers – Janesville/Madison – Locally, the UAW represents General Motors retirees, as well as, workers at the Blackhawk Community Credit Union, Weiler & Co, Mercy Clinic East, Parker Community Credit Union, and Abitec Corporations.
The International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local 890 – This union includes members who work for a number of area businesses, including American Power, Morse Electric, B&C Electric, Foley Electric, Frank’s Electric, Guenther Electric, Richter Electric, The State Group, Thompson Electric and Westphal & Co.
The International Association of Machinists – “The Journeymen/Tool and Die Makers of the Local 1266 feel that Troy Knudson’s leadership and ability to represent the community are
outstanding!” – Ivan Collins, Secretary/Treasurer for District 10
