Oshkosh, WI – Kurt Kober- Democratic candidate for Lieutenant Governor, addressed Wisconsin Democrats at their annual convention on Saturday, June 2.

Kober is a Sheboygan native who is running to bring the spirit of entrepreneurship through community investment back to Wisconsin.

“We know that we have the thinkers, the dreamers and the do-ers, right here in Wisconsin….. not only to thrive in the new economy, but to lead it, if we make the right choices. If we invest in everyone, in each community across our state, we will build a Wisconsin where everyone can live, work, and thrive” Kober said.

Robert Scott, campaign manager, said “What Kurt brings to this race is a progressive vision with proven, innovative, results. Since his time as head of the College Democrats of Wisconsin, Kurt has worked with nonprofits, local government, and businesses to adapt to the new 21st century economy, while maintaining progressive values.”

“My record of results is what I will bring with me to the role of Lieutenant Governor. I plan to be an active partner not only with our next Democratic Governor, but with Wisconsinites as well” Kober said

In his address, Kober discussed his experiences in the public and private sector that ranges from nonprofit work, working with the legislature to improve the UW-Green Bay campus, starting a small business, and transforming existing businesses. He stressed the importance of the upcoming 2018 election and that now is the time to elect new leaders with new ideas in order to rewire Wisconsin.
