Contributions exceed both opponents combined
Caledonia, WI – John Leiber, Republican candidate for the 62nd Assembly District, announced that his campaign garnered over $22,000 from more than three dozen donors from April through June 2018. The Leiber campaign received over twice as much in contributions as the Democratic opponent.
Additionally, Leiber reported having over 10 times as much cash on hand as his primary opponent, while raising four times as much in contributions.
Leiber made the following statement:
“These strong numbers show that citizens from across the 62nd District believe investment in our future is crucial. In the three months I’ve been going door to door, the overwhelming message I hear is that we need a strong voice in Madison. As our campaign builds momentum, we are the best equipped to face Democrat John Lehman in the general election.”
The primary election for the 62nd Assembly District will be held on August 14, 2018. The general election will be held on November 6, 2018.
