The Libertarian Party of Wisconsin will be holding its annual convention in Madison on Saturday, April 14, at the Best Western Park Hotel.

“The Libertarian Party has never been stronger in Wisconsin,” said Philip Anderson, Party Chair and candidate for Governor. “We have excellent candidates at every level and already have scored one victory this year.”

The agenda for the 2018 Convention includes platform revisions, selection of delegates for the National Convention in New Orleans in June, and possible endorsement of candidates.

Jeffrey Tucker, Editorial Director of the American Institute for Economic Research, will serve as the Keynote speaker Saturday night.

On Friday night, a campaign kick-off event will be held at the Essen Haus, allowing candidates from around the state to meet and greet attendees and guests. Governor candidate Anderson, Lt. Governor candidate Patrick Baird will join Larry Sharpe, former Vice Presidential candidate for the Libertarian Party and current candidate for Governor of New York.

The convention is open to the public, but attendees must be party members in good standing to participate in the business meeting. Registration and further details are available at: https://www.lpwi.org/convention.
