Green Bay — Beau Liegeois, candidate for congress (WI-08), provided the following statement on the decision regarding Janus v. AFSCME
“Although the Janus decision by the Supreme Court is unfortunate, it is not unexpected. I will always stand with and speak out for the teachers, steelworkers, pipefitters, ironworkers, firefighters and the thousands of other union families that call Northeast Wisconsin home. This administration and congressional leadership have been trying to divide and conquer our hardworking union families for a long time. This attack shows the continued efforts to disguise giveaways for billionaires using the false pretense of supporting the middle class. I will never back down from fighting for our working middle-class families.”
