Event recognizes Milwaukee’s beer aficionados with trivia contest
MILWAUKEE, WI – Each year the Milwaukee Press Club, the oldest continuously operating press club in North America, hosts the City of Milwaukee Birthday Party, an event that brings together business leaders and community members to celebrate another year of Milwaukee history. This year, the event is “Toasting Tradition” and celebrating Milwaukee’s 172 years of brewing with a contest to recognize Milwaukee’s beer enthusiasts.
On Thursday, Jan. 25 from 5:30 – 8 p.m. more than 400 community members will come together to raise a glass to Milwaukee and to this year’s contest winners at the Grain Exchange. The contest contains trivia questions from more than 30 breweries in Milwaukee. Each question can be answered by researching online or visiting a Milwaukee brewery. The contest can be accessed here and will close at 5 p.m. on Jan. 19. Top scorers will be announced the evening of the event.
Admission to the event is $35 and includes gourmet food stations by Bartolotta Catering, complimentary beer, birthday cake and a party favor. This year’s business card drawing consist of cases of beer, memorabilia, gift cards and more. Tickets can be purchased here.
