As the largest and most diverse of the 16 Wisconsin technical colleges, Milwaukee Area Technical College is educating the students who will help close the region’s skills gap. MATC delivers high-quality, industry-connected programs and an affordable path to more than 50 four-year partners, including guaranteed transfer agreements with UW-Madison, UW-Milwaukee, UW-Parkside and Marquette University. MATC President Dr. Vicki J. Martin — one of 18 Milwaukee Business Journal “executives to watch in 2018” — will share how MATC is shaping the region’s workforce, from high school dual enrollment to associate degrees and beyond. Guests will also have the opportunity to tour STEM, healthcare, business, and advanced manufacturing labs, which connect students to opportunities at businesses including Foxconn and many more.
