“As a single mom, I know what it’s like to struggle to make ends meet, and I know it’s only gotten harder to raise a family on a single income. We can’t afford to lose in November because working families can’t afford to wait any longer for better health care and higher wages. I am very proud to have the support of Lauren and thousands of working families throughout Wisconsin’s 1st District,” Cathy Myers explained.
The race for the Democratic nomination in Wisconsin’s 1st District is a toss-up, and the stakes could not be higher, so voters face an important choice on August 14th.
“We know Paul Ryan’s billionaire donors are going to spend tens of millions of dollars on attack ads, so it is incredibly important that the Democratic nominee has the ethics, the values, and the records to fight back against those attacks and win in November” Myers continued.
Cathy Myers is a 24-year veteran public high school teacher who is currently serving in her second term on the Janesville School Board. She has raised over $1.2 million solely from individual contributions averaging just $23.
