Chief appellate judge will report over $350K cash-on-hand, well-positioned to run in what is expected to be a competitive race

RACINE, WI – Judge Lisa Neubauer, candidate for Wisconsin Supreme Court, announced today that her campaign has more than $350,000 cash-on-hand as of June 30th.

“I’m so grateful for the early support from my friends and colleagues from across the state who believe in my candidacy and are propelling us to such a strong start,” Neubauer said. “These early resources will help us build a robust campaign focused on talking with voters about the importance of fair and independent courts.”

Last week Thursday, Judge Neubauer also announced that she had been endorsed by more than 150 current and former Wisconsin judges, including 18 judges from the Wisconsin Court of Appeals, where she currently serves as Chief Judge.

“I look forward to the next several months as I get a chance to travel the state and talk with Wisconsinites about what matters most to them on the court,” said Judge Neubauer.

Judge Neubauer has served for more than a decade on the Wisconsin Court of Appeals, and has been Chief Judge of the Court of Appeals since 2015. She had almost two decades of experience as a litigation attorney at Foley & Lardner before joining the appellate court and also served as a law clerk for Judge Barbara Crabb, then-Chief Judge of the United States District Court, Western District of Wisconsin. Judge Neubauer lives in Racine with her husband, Jeff, and they are the proud parents of three children.
