The conservative Congressional Leadership Fund is out with a new ad knocking Dem Randy Bryce for his “liberal and extreme” stance on taxes, health care and immigration.

The 30-second spot, which is running on TV and digital platforms, opens with footage of Bryce being arrested during a protest near Speaker Paul Ryan’s Racine office in March.

“Randy Bryce doesn’t belong in Congress,” the narrator says, noting the ironworker has been arrested nine times and refused to pay child support.

The narrator goes on to say Bryce is “liberal and extreme” on the issues.

That includes his support of “dangerous sanctuary cities,” the narrator says as an image flashes across the screen of a man wearing a jumpsuit marked “county jail” walking into a cell, as well as Bryce’s backing of “massive tax hikes and government-run health care that would nearly double the debt.”

“Criminal. Deadbeat. Radical,” the narrator says to close the spot. “That’s the real Randy Bryce.”

The ad, which is running in the Milwaukee media market, is part of the group’s $2.5 million buy for the fall.
