Gov. Scott Walker’s latest TV ad knocks Dem rival Tony Evers, saying he’ll raise taxes.
The spot, the 22nd of Walker’s re-election bid, is a take off on a regular feature on the children’s show “The Electric Company.” In the bit, the silhouettes of two people’s faces are shown as they teach kids how to pronounce sounds. One of the silhouettes starts the word before the other finishes.
In the Walker ad, the silhouettes start by sounding out Evers’ name and “will raise taxes.”
They they sound out property, income and gas.
The two silhouettes say “Oh no” to close the spot as Evers’ picture is shown and the phrase “We can’t afford Tony Evers’ taxes” is shown below it.
