GOP U.S. Senate candidate Kevin Nicholson today announced he raised more than $1 million during the first three months of the year.
Nicholson, a business consultant and former Marine, will report more than $800,000 cash on hand, the campaign said.
The campaign did not announce how much Nicholson spent between Jan. 1 and March 31. But he finished 2017 with $516,583 in the bank, meaning he spent about two-thirds of what he took in during the three-month period.
Nicholson has now raised more than $2.3 million since announcing his bid in July.
