MADISON, Wis. — Planned Parenthood of Wisconsin, along with two other state affiliates and allied groups, has filed a federal lawsuit fighting back against the latest efforts of the Trump administration to limit access to birth control, this time through administrative means.
The following are the statements of One Wisconsin Institute Program Director Analiese Eicher:
“As soon as discrimination against women in health insurance was banned, the right wing went all out to undermine both access to birth control services and organizations like Planned Parenthood who provide access to affordable birth control and judgement free reproductive health care.
“We applaud and support the efforts of those fighting back to ensure that women and their families can make the informed reproductive decisions that are right for them, free from the interference of government or discrimination by insurance companies.”
