MADISON – Nicole Safar, Executive Director of Planned Parenthood Advocates of Wisconsin (PPAWI) issued the following statement on tonight’s primary election results:
“We congratulate Tony Evers and PPAWI endorsed candidate Mandela Barnes on their primary election victories tonight. Both candidates are proven women’s health champions who stand with Wisconsin women and families. We know Tony Evers and Mandela Barnes will put their values into action when it comes to increasing health care access for all Wisconsinites. PPAWI will be mobilizing our 350,000 supporters to vote in November for the Evers-Barnes ticket to lead Wisconsin forward.”
