MADISON – Planned Parenthood Advocates of Wisconsin (PPAWI) announced today its endorsement of Susan Crawford for Dane County Circuit Court Judge.
Statement from Nicole Safar, Executive Director of PPAWI:
“PPAWI is proud to stand with Susan Crawford as she runs for Dane County Judge. Susan is a champion for women’s health who has been a leader in our community. As legal counsel for Gov. Jim Doyle, she worked with an administration dedicated to protecting and expanding access to reproductive health care. Susan currently serves as Planned Parenthood of Wisconsin’s attorney, and has stood with us fighting unconstitutional restrictions on a woman’s ability to make her own health care decisions. In particular, her strategic guidance helped PPWI protect access to medication abortion services in Madison and Milwaukee.
