Groundhog Day: Six More Weeks of Walker’s Desperate Reforms
Madison – Today Governor Walker issued an executive order calling for a Special Session of the legislature to attack working families in Wisconsin. Rep. Anderson released the following statement:
“Administrative red tape won’t help struggling Wisconsinites get healthcare. Wisconsin has real challenges, but we won’t solve them by throwing hurdles in front of working families. A bright future is within our reach but first we must expand Medicaid and guarantee affordable health insurance for every single Wisconsinite. Our problems are solvable, but we must commit to fighting for everyone, not just the highest bidder. This Special Session is political theater for a Governor more concerned about sowing resentment rather than solving problems.”
