Madison… A bipartisan bill signed into law earlier this year created a $100 per-child tax rebate and a five day sales tax holiday. Beginning August 1st through August 5th sales tax will not be charged for all school supplies costing $75 or less, computers that cost $750 or less, or computer supplies that cost $250 or less.

“I am encouraged to hear over 555,000 families claimed the $100 Child Tax rebate,” said Representative Joan Ballweg (R-Markesan). “This sales tax holiday will give back to the Wisconsin taxpayers and help with the cost of supporting our families.”
